Our Values

To fulfil our mission we are committed as a church to be God-centred, loving, prophetic, purposeful and people-empowering, and our vibrancy as a community will stem from the embodiment of these values in a way that is attractive, inclusive, non-religious, and naturally supernatural.

God-centred

Our core belief is that God is love, and that his love is perfectly revealed to every individual through the incarnation, life, death and resurrection of his son, Jesus Christ. Our response to this amazing love is a deep commitment to put him at the centre of every aspect of our lives and for creative expressions of our worship and a passion for prayer to remain firmly at the heart of our life as a church.

Loving

We see the church as a loving, caring family with a deep commitment to maintain real and open relationships, to serve and support one another, and to provide an inclusive environment in which every person can find refuge, new hope and a sense of belonging.

Prophetic

As part of God’s deep concern for the well-being of every person, he longs to speak to us individually, and to touch our lives with his transforming power. As disciples of Jesus, he has called us to be a prophetic people who become his voice and his hands, bringing heaven to earth and communicating his heart for people through our words and actions.

Purposeful

Our primary purpose as a church is to obey Jesus’ command to “go and make disciples” by reaching out to connect with people, proclaiming the good news, praying for their needs, healing the sick, demonstrating God’s love, teaching God’s Word, and training people in whole-life discipleship.

People-empowering

We do not see church in terms of minister and congregation but as a community where everyone has a vital role to play, and where ordinary people are equipped, enabled and released to live extraordinary lives as ambassadors of God’s kingdom in their homes, families, neighbourhoods, social circles and workplaces.
